Rogue scout (Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition)
Rogues rely on skill, stealth, and their foes' vulnerabilities to get the upper hand. They have a knack for finding the solution to just about any problem, whether through deception, investigation, or good old-fashioned breaking and entering. When they do fight, Rogues strike with deadly precision.

Recommended choices
Priorities
- Maximize DEX for attacks, AC, initiative, and key skills.
- Pick Expertise in Stealth and Perception for reliable scouting.
- Use Cunning Action (bonus action Hide/Dash/Disengage) every turn.
Play tips
- Don't stand in melee after your turn, Disengage or Hide.
- Sneak Attack works once per turn, not once per round; readied actions can trigger it again.
- Reliable Talent at level 11 makes you unhitable on skill checks.
