Brawling (Cyberpunk RED)

Skills

Definition

Brawling is the art of fighting with nothing but your fists, feet, elbows, and whatever body parts you can throw at the problem. It's the most basic combat skill—no weapons needed, always available, and surprisingly effective when enhanced with cyberware like Gorilla Arms or Big Knucks. Brawling uses your DEX stat and covers all unarmed combat that isn't formal martial arts. In Night City's bars, back alleys, and underground fight clubs, Brawling is how disputes get settled when nobody draws a weapon. It's also the default skill for Gorilla Arms and other blunt-force cyberweapons, meaning a chromed-up brawler can hit harder than someone swinging a baseball bat. While Brawling lacks the finesse of Martial Arts, it's practical, brutal, and effective—much like Night City itself.

How it works
