Charisma (Hunter: The Reckoning 5th Edition)
Definition
Charisma represents force of personality, natural charm, and the ability to inspire others. For hunters, Charisma is essential for building the human networks that support the Hunt -- convincing witnesses to talk, rallying the cell when morale falters, and maintaining the social connections that keep hunters grounded in their humanity. Hunting monsters is isolating work. The things hunters see and do can drive wedges between them and normal people. Charismatic hunters serve as the social glue that holds cells together, the ones who can talk a traumatized witness through what they saw, persuade a reluctant ally to help, or keep the group from falling apart after a devastating loss. Charisma also matters when dealing with authorities, gaining access to restricted areas through social engineering, and presenting a convincing cover story for why your group was found in an abandoned warehouse at 3 AM covered in something that definitely isn't blood.

Frequently asked questions
Is Charisma useful in combat?
Indirectly. Charisma helps with Leadership rolls to coordinate the cell during combat, Intimidation to frighten human opponents, and post-combat social recovery. It won't help you swing a weapon, but it keeps the team functioning.
