Intelligence (Hunter: The Reckoning 5th Edition)
Definition
Intelligence represents reasoning ability, memory, education, and the capacity to analyze complex information. For hunters, Intelligence is the Attribute that lets them research supernatural creatures, identify weaknesses, plan operations, and understand the occult lore that reveals how to actually kill things that shouldn't exist. Knowledge is arguably a hunter's greatest weapon. A strong arm and a steady aim mean nothing if you don't know that a particular creature is immune to bullets, vulnerable to silver, or can only be destroyed by a specific ritual. Intelligence is what turns a group of scared mortals into an effective hunting cell. Intelligence also supports the investigative work that precedes every Hunt. Analyzing crime scenes, researching historical records, cross-referencing witness accounts, and identifying patterns in supernatural activity all depend on Intelligence. The best hunters spend far more time preparing than fighting.

Is Intelligence or Wits more important for hunters?
Intelligence is better for preparation and research, while Wits excels in the moment. Ideally, have both. If forced to choose, consider your role: researchers need Intelligence, field operatives need Wits.
