Frequently asked questions
Is RPG Stack really free?
Yes! All core features are completely free: unlimited characters, campaigns, forum RP, dice rolling, NPC tracking, and more. You only pay if you want more AI credits.
What are AI credits?
AI credits let you use AI-powered features like NPC generation (5 credits), NPC conversations (1 credit), and rules assistance (3 credits). Free users get 25 credits to start!
How do I earn more free credits?
Invite your friends! When someone signs up with your referral code, you both get 20 bonus credits. Find your unique referral code in your account settings.
What's the difference between subscriptions and credit packs?
Subscriptions give you monthly credits that reset each billing cycle - great for regular users. Credit packs are one-time purchases that never expire - perfect for occasional users or if you run out of subscription credits.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll keep using your AI credits until the end of your billing period, then go back to the free tier.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing! All your characters, campaigns, and data stay exactly as they are. You just go back to the free tier. All features remain available.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes! We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, contact us for a full refund.
