How It Works
Build your dice pool (Attribute + Skill), then roll. Every 5 or 6 is a hit. Meet the threshold to succeed. If more than half your dice show 1s, that's a glitch; a glitch with zero hits is a critical glitch.
Pro tips
Dice pools under 4 dice are risky for glitches. Use Edge when the margin matters, and remember that exploding 6s can turn a close call into a clean success.

How do glitches work in Shadowrun?
A glitch happens when more than half your dice show 1s. On a successful roll, it is a regular glitch: you succeed but with a complication. On a roll with zero hits, it becomes a critical glitch: catastrophic failure with severe consequences.
How does Edge work?
Edge is a meta-resource you gain from situational advantages (better gear, higher ground, surprise). Spend it before or after a roll for effects like rerolling failures, adding Edge dice to your pool, or exploding 6s (roll an extra die for each 6).
