Features
System-accurate dice rolling with all the mechanics you need for Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5E.
- d10 dice pool with Rage dice
- Brutal Outcomes
How It Works
Set your dice pool and Rage level, then roll. Rage dice (red) replace regular dice based on your current Rage. When a Rage die is part of a critical pair (two 10s), it triggers a Brutal Critical: savage success with violent collateral. Rage dice cannot be re-rolled, limiting your control over the Beast.
Pro tips
Higher Rage means more Rage dice, more chance of Brutal Criticals, and more risk of frenzy. Manage your Rage carefully between Crinos rampages.
FAQ
How do Rage dice work in Werewolf 5e?
Rage dice replace regular dice in your pool based on your current Rage level. They count successes normally (6+ is a hit, paired 10s are a critical), but when a Rage die is part of a critical pair (two 10s), it becomes a Brutal Critical: you succeed with savage force, but the Storyteller determines the violent fallout. Rage dice cannot be re-rolled, which limits your control over outcomes.
What is a Brutal Critical?
A Brutal Critical happens when two 10s appear in your pool and at least one is a Rage die. Like a Messy Critical in VtM, you succeed powerfully but the Beast takes the wheel: the Storyteller describes the violent collateral. It is the Rage analogue of VtM's Hunger-driven Messy Critical.
