Overview
An Exec is a corporation's hand in the world. A division above you signs off on expenses, people below you are paid to do what you ask, and the role is the art of pointing that machine at a problem before a rival points theirs at you. At the table the Exec is the crew's access to resources and legitimacy. Teamwork requisitions a vehicle, a specialist, a meeting, or a security detail, and coordinates the crew so everyone's action lands in the same direction. None of it is yours, though. Every asset is logged and the corp expects a return, which is how most Exec campaigns turn into a story about getting out.
How it works
Role Ability: Teamwork Teamwork Description: Command corporate resources and coordinate team actions for tactical advantage. Rank sets both the size of what you can requisition and how tightly you can make a group act as one. Rank: Starts at 4 at creation and caps at 10. Each new rank costs Improvement Points equal to that rank times 60, and it ignores the creation cap of 6 on ordinary skills. Key Skills: Human Perception and Persuasion for the boardroom, Trading and Bribery for what the boardroom will not sign, Leadership for the crew, Education for knowing which department owns what you want. Typical Equipment: Corporate agent, expense account, company vehicle, armored business wear, and a security detail that answers on a good day.
Tips and playstyle
Best For: Players who like managing assets and obligations, and campaigns where the corporations are characters rather than scenery. Playstyle: Push your 62 stat points toward INT, COOL, and EMP and delegate the shooting. Your strongest turn is often spent making someone else's turn better. Track what you owe as carefully as what you can call in. Character Concepts: Ambitious junior VP, division fixer for a media conglomerate, ex-Militech logistics officer, a legacy hire quietly selling the company out.
Frequently asked questions
What can Teamwork requisition?
Whatever your rank and your division plausibly control: transport, gear, a specialist for a day, a meeting nobody else can get. Rank 4 buys departmental favors; high rank supplies things other roles would have to steal.
Do I have to stay loyal to the corp?
Mechanically no, but the resources belong to the corp and can be cut off. Most Execs run a double game, spending company assets on the crew's jobs while keeping the paperwork clean enough that nobody audits it.
Does Teamwork help in a firefight?
Through coordination, not damage. Getting suppression, positioning, and the actual shot to happen in the right order is the Exec contribution. The Solo still does the shooting.
