Overview
Warriors are masters of martial combat, wielding weapons with devastating skill and unwavering determination. They have trained their bodies into instruments of war, capable of cleaving through enemies with raw power and practiced technique. When the battle gets fierce, Warriors are the ones who charge in first and come out standing. Warrior characters in Daggerheart draw from the Blade and Bone domains, combining weapon mastery with primal combat ferocity. Their primary trait is Strength, reflecting their raw physical power and ability to push through punishment that would stop anyone else.

Frequently asked questions
How is the Warrior different from the Guardian?
Warriors focus on offense through Blade and Bone domains, maximizing damage output and aggressive combat techniques. Guardians focus on defense through Valor and Blade domains, protecting allies and absorbing damage. Warriors destroy, Guardians protect.
Can Warriors use ranged weapons?
Warriors can use any weapon, but their Strength-based primary trait and domain cards are optimized for melee combat. A ranged Warrior is possible but would be less effective than a Ranger, who is designed for ranged combat with Agility as their primary trait.
Are Warriors just about hitting things?
While combat is their forte, Warriors bring important qualities to any party: they can break down doors, intimidate enemies, carry heavy loads, and serve as the physical backbone of the group. Bone domain cards also provide survival and tracking abilities outside combat.
