Overview

Counterfeit Blush is the formula that lets a duskborn stop reading as a corpse. Skin warms, color returns to the face, and something close to a pulse moves under the jaw. To a hand on your wrist or a cheek against yours, you are a person who has been outside in the cold. It is the social survival formula. Thin-bloods keep mortal jobs, mortal partners, and mortal families in a way older Kindred cannot, and this is what makes that possible for one more evening. It is also what gets a duskborn through a clinic visit, a police pat-down, or a Camarilla interview where someone is checking whether the thin-blood in front of them is worth the effort of killing.
