Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th Edition form
Glabro
Glabro is a form in Werewolf W5: The near-human shape, taller and hairier, trading social credibility for two dice of physical force.

Overview
Glabro is the first step away from human: bigger, heavier, hairier, and obviously wrong to anyone paying attention. It adds 2 dice to Physical tests and takes 2 dice off Social tests, the only form that pays and charges in the same breath. In play Glabro is the compromise shape. You keep hands and speech, so you can still work a door, carry a weapon, or shout an order, while hitting harder than any human. The Social penalty is the tell: Glabro is built to threaten people rather than persuade them, and a Galliard mid-performance should stay in Homid.
How it works
Attribute Changes: None. The form adjusts dice pools, not Attribute ratings. Dice: Plus 2 dice on Physical tests, minus 2 dice on Social tests. Speed: Faster and stronger than a human, short of the four-legged forms. Delirium: None. Witnesses remember something wrong rather than something impossible, which is its own problem. Shifting: Rage fuels the change, and Glabro is the cheap shift to reach for when Crinos would end the scene outright. Tools and Speech: Both still work, which is what separates Glabro from Crinos, Hispo, and Lupus.
Tips and playstyle
Best for: Fights with witnesses you cannot afford to break, and any intimidation that lands better with teeth behind it. Character concepts: A Shadow Lord leaning across a table, a bouncer who stopped pretending, an Ahroun holding a doorway without tearing the Veil. Synergies: Intimidation gains roughly what Persuasion loses, and a Brawl or Melee specialty turns the 2 extra dice into damage.
Frequently asked questions
When is Glabro the better call than Crinos?
Whenever the scene has to continue afterward. Crinos adds 4 Physical dice and 4 Health levels but fails every Social test and causes Delirium in mortals. Glabro keeps the witnesses, your hands, and the conversation for half the dice.
Does the Social penalty apply to other Garou?
Yes. The form takes 2 dice off Social tests and packmates are no exception, so most Garou drop back to Homid before arguing a point at a moot.
Can I explain Glabro away to a human who saw it?
Not easily. There is no Delirium to blur the memory, so the witness keeps a clear recollection of something large and wrong. In a city that is often the more expensive outcome.
