Overview
The Bahari loresheet marks your character as a follower of the Dark Mother. Bahari revere Lilith rather than Caine and teach that pain, tested deliberately, is how a vampire learns what it is. Their rites are ordeals, and passing them is the only credential the faith recognizes. The faith crosses clan and sect lines, which makes it useful and dangerous in equal measure. Bahari cells shelter each other regardless of politics, and princes who learn a coterie holds Lilith's rites tend to treat that as a heresy problem rather than a religious preference.
How it works
Benefits: Access to Bahari cells and rites, cross-sect contacts, occult knowledge about Lilith and the origin of the curse Dot Levels: Higher levels mean recognized rank in the faith and the harder ordeals that grant it Practice: The rites demand real suffering, yours included, and the faith notices who avoids them
Tips and playstyle
Best For: Occultists, Hecata and Tzimisce characters, coteries that want a religion pulling against the Church of Caine Story Hooks: A cell asks you to run an ordeal for a candidate who will not survive it honestly
Frequently asked questions
How does this differ from the Church of Caine?
Bahari follow Lilith and treat Caine as the first failure. The two faiths compete directly, and the argument gets violent.
Can any clan join?
Yes. Bahari recruit on conviction, not blood, which is exactly why sects consider them a security problem.
