High Clan

Overview

The High Clan loresheet claims descent from the clans that medieval Kindred society treated as aristocracy: Lasombra, Toreador, Tzimisce, and Ventrue. That ranking was a real institution for centuries, deciding who spoke at court, who held land, and who was expected to serve. The Camarilla officially retired the distinction, and elders remember it anyway. Characters with this loresheet carry themselves as nobility and are read that way by anyone old enough to care, which opens doors in old-blood circles and closes them everywhere the same history is remembered as oppression. It is a loresheet about manners and expectation as much as about power.

How it works

Benefits: Standing in traditionalist Kindred circles, access to old-blood networks and private gatherings, and the assumption of legitimacy before you have earned any Dot Levels: Lower levels are bearing and recognition. Higher levels mean a documented noble line, elder patrons who acknowledge it, and obligations that come with the acknowledgment Burden: The old code expects hospitality kept, debts honored, and inferiors treated correctly. Kindred who claim the rank and behave badly are punished by the same elders who granted it
