Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition loresheet
Low Clan
Low Clan is a loresheet in Vampire V5: Your blood was ranked beneath the noble clans, and you have made that useful.

Overview
The Low Clan loresheet claims the other side of the medieval hierarchy: Nosferatu, Gangrel, Malkavian, Brujah, and the rest of the lines that the noble clans treated as servants, spies, and muscle. The ranking was formal, it lasted centuries, and every Kindred old enough to have lived under it still carries an opinion about it. Characters with this loresheet do not pretend it did not happen. They lean on it. Low Clan Kindred built networks the High Clans never had access to, learned trades the nobility considered beneath them, and got very good at being underestimated by people who never bothered to check. That habit of being dismissed is the actual mechanical advantage.
How it works
Benefits: Connections across the Low Clan networks in your city and others, practical skills and contacts the nobility never cultivated, and the ongoing advantage of being underestimated Dot Levels: Lower levels are local recognition and a few reliable names. Higher levels mean standing across cities, older networks, and information the High Clans assume nobody kept Prejudice: The dismissal is real. Some doors do not open, and the loresheet does not remove that, it turns it into cover
Tips and playstyle
Best For: Nosferatu, Gangrel, Brujah and Malkavian characters, Anarchs, streetwise coteries, and anyone who wants class conflict in the chronicle Story Hooks: A High Clan elder needs something only your networks can find; a Low Clan debt you inherited comes due at the worst possible moment
Frequently asked questions
Is Low Clan just a disadvantage?
No. It costs you standing in traditionalist circles and buys you networks, information, and the reliable habit of enemies underestimating you until it is too late.
Do Anarchs care about this history?
Many of them are it. The Anarch Movement drew heavily from clans the hierarchy ranked low, so the loresheet reads as credentials rather than as a stigma.
Can I take both Low Clan and High Clan?
No. They describe opposite positions in the same hierarchy. A character with a mixed history should pick which side other Kindred place them on.
