Dice roller for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition
Roll system-accurate dice online, instantly. Links below take you directly to the most relevant guides and tools for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition.
Quick workflow
- Open the tool and set the system.
- Use the system’s roll loop to keep outcomes consistent.
- Track only the numbers/resources that matter for this scene.
- After the scene: update your sheet so the next session starts clean.
VTM V5 uses d10 dice pools: roll Attribute + Skill, count successes on 6+, and watch for criticals on 10s. Hunger dice add personal-horror volatility (messy criticals and bestial failures).
Examples
Keep the tool page open, apply one consistent roll loop, and update the sheet immediately after a scene so the next roll starts from the truth.
If the table argues about a rule, use one reference page, apply it once, then move on. Consistency beats perfection mid-session.
Common mistakes
- Mistake: opening too many tabs and losing the source of truth. Fix: keep one “primary” page open (sheet or reference) and link out only when needed.
- Mistake: rolling without stakes. Fix: state what success changes and what failure costs before rolling.
Key facts
- 14 clans: Brujah and Gangrel run as Anarchs outside the Camarilla; Banu Haqim, Lasombra, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere, and Ventrue hold Camarilla seats; Hecata, Ministry, Ravnos, Salubri, and Tzimisce lean independent, Sabbat, or unaligned
- 10 Predator Types: Alleycat, Bagger, Blood Leech, Cleaver, Consensualist, Extortionist, Farmer, Osiris, Sandman, Siren
- Discipline system: In-clan Disciplines cost less XP than out-of-clan
- Hunger dice: a separate resource (0-5) that adds volatility to rolls via messy criticals or bestial failures
- Humanity tracking: Starts at 7, decreases with immoral actions
- Blood Potency: Increases with age, affects feeding and Discipline power
