Daggerheart domain
Splendor
Splendor is a domain in Daggerheart: light, radiance, and divine power that heals as readily as it burns.

Overview
Splendor is power that shines. Its cards heal, protect, reveal what is hidden, and burn what should not be there, which makes it the only domain that answers both of the party's biggest problems: marked HP slots and something that needs to die now. It is shared by the Seraph (with Valor) and the Wizard (with Codex), a pairing that surprises people. The Seraph leads with Strength and channels radiance through conviction, while the Wizard leads with Knowledge and reaches the same light through study. The domain does not care which route you took; it cares that you can hold it.
How it works
Classes: Seraph (paired with Valor) and Wizard (paired with Codex). The Seraph's primary trait is Strength and the Wizard's is Knowledge. Card Types: Healing and restoration, radiant damage against foes, protective blessings on allies, and light effects that expose the concealed. The stronger blessings usually ask for Hope, the same personal resource players spend to assist each other. Themes: Light, radiance, and divine power.
Tips and playstyle
Best for: Seraphs, who are built to heal and smite in the same encounter, and Wizards who want their party to survive their own experiments. Character concepts: Temple champion, oathbound healer, dawn priest, a scholar who proved the light was real and has been carrying it since. Synergies: Splendor is the natural counter to Midnight, since light reveals the concealed. Splendor with Valor (the Seraph) makes the most durable support character available, healing behind a defensive wall. Splendor with Codex (the Wizard) trades that durability for reach and information. Keep Presence respectable if you intend to be the party's moral center as well as its healer.
Frequently asked questions
Is Splendor only for divine characters?
No. The Wizard draws from it through study and the Seraph through blessing, so the same radiant cards can be a miracle or a solved equation depending on the character you built.
Splendor or Sage for healing?
Splendor heals through radiance and pairs that with offense, so a Seraph can restore an ally and still threaten an enemy. Sage heals through nature and brings terrain, beasts, and travel utility instead. Both work; they carry different second halves.
Does Splendor counter stealth?
It is the best tool against it. Light effects expose concealment, which puts Splendor directly opposite Midnight, the domain of shadow and hidden things, whenever those two meet.
