Overview
The Martial creed represents hunters who believe in meeting the supernatural threat head-on. They train relentlessly, master weapons and tactics, and serve as the front-line fighters of their cells. When a monster needs to be put down, the Martial hunter is the one who does it. Martial hunters come from backgrounds that prepare them for violence -- military service, law enforcement, martial arts, or a hard life that taught them to fight. They understand that sometimes the only answer to a monster is superior force, applied skillfully.
How it works
Edge Affinity: Asset Edges (Arsenal, Fleet, Ordnance, Library) Desperation Dice: Martial hunters may add Desperation Dice when outmatched physically, when their combat skills prove useless against a supernatural threat, or when the cell faces overwhelming force. Approach: Fight monsters head-on, use tactics and training, protect the cell in combat Despair: When Desperation Dice trigger Despair, the Martial hunter freezes or breaks under the weight of the threat. They cannot use Desperation Dice again until they redeem themselves through their Drive.
