Performance is the ability to hold an audience: acting, singing, playing an instrument, dancing, stand-up, or a speech that lands. It is a technical skill as much as a charming one, since the difference between a competent set and a memorable one is craft that took years. For Kindred it is a hunting ground and a career at once. A performer draws a crowd, and a crowd is vessels who came to you willingly and will not question a private word afterward. Toreador build unlives on it and Sirens hunt with it. It is also how an immortal stays interesting to themselves, which matters more to old vampires than most young ones expect.

Only indirectly. Acting a role for an audience is Performance; convincing one person of a specific falsehood while they question you is Subterfuge.
Can I hunt with Performance?
Yes, and the Siren predator type is built around exactly that. A performance gathers willing vessels and gives you a reason to be alone with one afterward.
Do vampires make good performers?
Technically, yes: unlimited practice time and no aging. The problem is that a career means photographs, schedules, and fans who notice you have not changed, which is a Masquerade risk.
