Overview
Censors are holy warriors sworn to a god, saint, or sacred order, enforcing divine law on the battlefield. They pass judgment on the enemies of the faithful and channel divine authority to restrain, punish, and destroy them. Part inquisitor, part front-line champion, the Censor stands between the innocent and the powers that would harm them. Censor characters single out a foe with their Judgment, then bring the full weight of divine wrath against it, growing more dangerous as the fight wears on. They pair martial strength with sacred power, making them durable enforcers who excel at locking down the most dangerous threat on the field.
How it works
Primary Characteristics: Might and Presence Role: Defender/striker Stamina: High (21 at level 1) Key Mechanics:
- Judgment: mark an enemy to gain bonuses against it and punish its actions
- Wrath, a heroic resource that builds as you fight your judged foe
- Divine abilities that restrain, smite, and pass sentence on enemies
- High stamina and martial proficiency for front-line durability Subclasses (Orders): Censors join a holy order that shapes how they hunt and judge, such as the Exorcist, the Oracle, or the Paragon.
Tips and playstyle
Character Concepts: Templar, holy inquisitor, divine avenger, temple champion, oathsworn judge, relentless crusader. Playstyle: Censors are at their best when they single out the most dangerous enemy and bring it to heel. Use Judgment to mark that foe, then punish it every time it acts while your Wrath builds. Your high stamina lets you hold the front line and protect your allies. Synergies: Works well with strikers like the Shadow or Fury who can finish the foe you've marked and restrained. Conduits complement your divine theme and keep you standing.
