Overview
Furies are primal warriors who channel raw emotion and physical power into devastating melee attacks. As battle rages on and they take damage, their fury grows, unlocking increasingly powerful abilities. A Fury in full rage is one of the most dangerous forces on the battlefield. Fury characters are the premier melee damage dealers in Draw Steel. With the highest stamina and most devastating single-target attacks, they wade into the thick of combat and refuse to go down. Their rage mechanic rewards aggressive play, making them more dangerous the longer a fight lasts.

Tips and playstyle
Character Concepts: Berserker warrior, tribal champion, vengeful avenger, arena fighter, feral protector, rage-fueled guardian. Playstyle: Get into melee as fast as possible and start building rage. The longer you fight, the more powerful you become. Do not be afraid to take damage since your high stamina and recovery value mean you can absorb punishment that would fell other heroes. Save your most powerful rage abilities for when you have built up enough resource. Synergies: Pairs perfectly with Conduits who keep your high stamina pool topped off. Tacticians can direct you into optimal positions and grant you extra attacks. Troubadours can inspire you to deal even more damage.
Frequently asked questions
How does rage work in Draw Steel?
Rage is a heroic resource that builds during combat as you deal damage, take damage, and use your fury abilities. At certain thresholds, you unlock more powerful abilities. Unlike some other systems, rage does not have a time limit; it lasts as long as combat does.
Is the Fury just a brainless damage dealer?
Not at all. While Furies hit hard, managing your rage resource, choosing when to use reckless abilities, and deciding which target to focus on all require tactical thinking. The best Furies know when to go all out and when to hold back.
Can Furies use ranged weapons?
Furies are designed for melee combat, and most of their abilities require melee range. However, your kit choice can provide some ranged options for situations where you cannot reach enemies. The Fury's strength is always in getting close.
