Overview
Elementalists are arcane heroes who draw upon the fundamental forces of creation: fire, ice, lightning, stone, and more. They reshape the battlefield with devastating area attacks and elemental manipulations. An Elementalist's power comes from understanding and commanding the raw building blocks of reality. Elementalist characters are powerful damage dealers and controllers who specialize in area-of-effect abilities. They can deal massive damage to groups of enemies, create difficult terrain, and impose elemental conditions. Their lower stamina means they need to position carefully and rely on allies for protection.

Tips and playstyle
Character Concepts: Pyromancer, storm caller, earth shaper, ice mage, elemental scholar, primordial channeler. Playstyle: Stay at range and use your area attacks to soften up groups of enemies. Your elemental zones can control where enemies move and create advantages for your allies. Be mindful of your low stamina and position behind your frontline. Synergies: Works excellently with Tacticians who can group enemies together for your area attacks. Furies who lock down enemies in melee create perfect targets for your abilities. Conduits keep you alive when enemies get close.
Frequently asked questions
Can I focus on one element or should I diversify?
Your subclass determines your primary element, and specializing is rewarded with enhanced effects. However, having access to a secondary element gives you flexibility against enemies that resist your primary. Find a balance that suits your playstyle.
How do I survive with low stamina?
Positioning is everything. Stay behind your frontline allies, use your zone effects to control enemy movement, and rely on your Conduit or Troubadour for healing. Some kits also boost your stamina to compensate.
How does the Essence resource work?
Essence builds as you use elemental abilities in combat. As you accumulate Essence, you unlock more powerful abilities or can enhance your basic attacks. Managing when to spend and when to build Essence is a key strategic decision.
