Overview
Nulls are heroes who possess the rare ability to negate and counter supernatural forces. In a world full of magic, psionics, and divine power, Nulls serve as the ultimate counterbalance. They protect their allies from magical threats and shut down enemy spellcasters and supernatural creatures. Null characters fill a unique role as anti-magic specialists. They can dispel effects, resist supernatural abilities, and create zones where magic does not work. While they may not deal the highest damage, their ability to neutralize the most dangerous enemy abilities makes them invaluable.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if there are no enemy spellcasters?
Many creatures have supernatural abilities even if they are not traditional spellcasters. Breath weapons, innate magic, and supernatural traits all fall within the Null's domain. You also have solid martial abilities for when there is nothing magical to counter.
Does my anti-magic affect my own allies?
Some abilities create zones that affect all magic, including allied, while others specifically target enemy abilities. Read your abilities carefully and coordinate with your allies to avoid suppressing friendly magic at critical moments.
How does the Null's resource work?
Your heroic resource builds when you successfully negate or counter enemy abilities. The more supernatural threats you shut down, the more powerful your own abilities become. This creates a satisfying loop where fighting magical enemies makes you stronger.
