Conduits are divine heroes who serve as vessels for the power of the gods. They channel divine energy to heal the wounded, bolster the defenses of their allies, and smite those who stand against the forces of good. Every Conduit has a connection to a deity or divine force that shapes their abilities. Conduit characters are the premier healers and support heroes in Draw Steel. They can restore stamina, remove conditions, and empower allies while also dealing meaningful damage to enemies of their faith. Their divine connection provides both mechanical benefits and rich roleplaying opportunities.

Character Concepts: Temple healer, battlefield chaplain, wandering saint, divine avenger, sacred guardian, prophetic oracle. Playstyle: Stay close to your allies and use your healing and support abilities to keep them in the fight. Your aura effects reward tight positioning. Do not neglect your offensive abilities, as dealing damage is still important even for a healer. Synergies: Pairs excellently with Furies and other frontline heroes who take a lot of damage and need frequent healing. Works well alongside Tacticians who can position allies to benefit from your auras.

Do I need to worship a specific god to play a Conduit?
You need a connection to a divine source, but Draw Steel gives you flexibility in defining that. It could be a specific deity, a pantheon, a divine ideal, or a cosmic force. Work with your Director to determine what fits the story.
Am I only a healer?
No. While Conduits are the best healers in the game, they also have solid offensive options, protective auras, and condition removal. A Conduit who only heals is missing half their toolkit. Use your offensive abilities when the party is healthy.
How do Conduit recoveries work?
Many Conduit abilities let allies spend their own recoveries to regain stamina, sometimes with bonuses. This means your healing is partly limited by how many recoveries your allies have remaining. Manage this resource across the party.
